
Synopsis
The story of the man who embodied the great transformations of the turn of the century, acclaimed almost worldwide as the first man to fly a plane - the 14 Bis. Set in France and Brazil in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the production follows the aviator's trajectory, from his childhood at his family's coffee plantations in the interior of Minas Gerais, to the sophisticated Paris lounges and air clubs.

Into the Unknown SkiesSantos Dumont is invited to an air race at the Universal Exhibition in America, but when his airship is sabotaged he decides to return to Paris to continue his work. Pressured by her aunt to get married, Aida de la Costa tries to make her own destiny.55m4E4Heavier Than AirSantos Dumont receives a heavy blow when his mentor passes away. The Archdeacon Prize is announced and offers a reward for any flight over 25 meters with a “heavier than air” craft, prompting Dumont to secretly develop his own design.55m5E5The Flight of the DragonflySantos Dumont wins the Archdeacon Prize and once again becomes the talk of the town with his now infamous aircraft, the 14-Bis.
