Synopsis
A four-part Italian RAI television adaptation that brings to life Fyodor Dostoevsky's three "ministerial novels": The Double, Notes from Underground, and A Nasty Story. The series delivers a psychological and social portrait of low-ranking state officials caught in their own deep inner turmoil, social alienation, and moral decay.

Meanwhile, a General learns of the wedding of one of his lower-ranking employees and decides to crash the party in a pseudo-humanitarian impulse; however, his awkward presence creates deep discomfort and causes the celebration to degenerate into complete disaster.74m
