
Synopsis
Ivor the Engine is a British children's animation by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin's Smallfilms company. It is a children's television series relating the adventures of a small green locomotive who lived in the "top left-hand corner of Wales" and worked for The Merioneth and Llantisilly Railway Traction Company Limited. His friends included Jones the Steam, Evans the Song and Dai Station, among many other characters.

The source appears to be Mr Dinwiddy's goldmine.5m5E5The DragonOne morning Jones and Ivor spots some smoke beside the railway line. It turns out to be Idris the Dragon. They rescue him and he explains that Smoke Hill is now extinct.5m6E6ChickensIvor has gone off on his own again. Dai gets quite cross about it, while Jones finds Ivor at Mr Pugh's farm along with some guests.5m7E7Old NellOld nell is a sheep dog clever and wise she is used to catch sheep, and stops engines if there's trouble such as when a sheep had fallen down the mine, and she helped when Ivor was stuck in the snow she is one of Ivor's friends.5m8E8The Lost EngineEngines don't always do exactly what you would expect them to do, but luckily they are very rarely stolen by gangsters.5m9E9The OutingEven the most difficult feats of engineering can be achieved, especially if they will help a friend to join in the fun, and also get very wet.5m10E10Time OffIt's a lovely summers day and Ivor has finished all his work.
