Synopsis
Mysterious murders of girls from dysfunctional families take place in a small town. Investigator Demidov, who is investigating this case, vows to find the maniac, since he himself has two daughters. However, after some time, he discovers that the maniac is much closer to his family than it could have been assumed.

Episode 1In a small taiga town, a little girl from a dysfunctional family disappears. Investigator Demidov senses something is wrong and plunges headlong into the investigation. Zimina decides to leave home and return to her past life, but there is no place for her there either. Demidov plunges deeper into the investigation, moving away from his wife and daughters.47m6
Episode 6Demidov is being rushed to provide evidence to accuse Tabarchuk, but he now believes that Tabarchuk is innocent. Suddenly, Demidov begins to doubt himself, as he cannot explain his memory lapses. Aglaya is trying to establish contact with her husband, who has completely abandoned his family.46m7
Episode 7The body of the third victim is found in the taiga. Demidov plunges into the depths of his subconscious. The evidence is against him, is he the killer? Malik explains himself to Katya, and she unexpectedly suggests that he leave together.46m8
