Synopsis
Third-year middle school student Yu-yu Kondo lives in Kanazawa city of the country of Kaga. Being unable to reject requests, Yu-yu often gets caught up in his sister's hobbies. When Yu-yu could no longer bear it and ran away from home, he was saved by Megumi Okura. Megumi invites Yu-yu to the Night Amusement Park "Wonder Hill" where her friends gather. The amusement park is where many youths of the Vanguard-centric group "Team Blackout" gather. And this is how Yu-yu encounters Vanguard and was drawn in by the appeal of Vanguard and the world and friends he had never seen before.

Tiger of KagaThe mysterious challenger Katsuki defeats Megumi and challenges Danji to a match, but Danji has a condition: to defeat Yu-yu first. And that's how Yu-yu started his special training with Danji for the cardfight one week later.24m4
Our Seven-Day CrusadeThe morning after the sudden retirement announcement, the amusement park is labelled with notices for destruction, and Danji goes missing, leaving Yu-yu and the remaining Blackout members troubled. In order to keep the amusement park from destruction, Megumi sets out to meet someone.24m5
That's CardFight Pro-Wrestling!!Danji joins the town's Pro-Wrestler Association as a regular to revive it, but is shocked to find out that his opponent is none other than Hiroshi Tanahashi. However, being adept at Vanguard as well, Tanahashi suggests having their match in both arenas as "CardFight Pro-Wrestling."24m6
Wonder ChildTohya appears once more at Wonder Hill with his partner Masanori, hoping to have another match against Danji. Danji wanted to accept the challenge from Tohya, but he has yet to sufficiently recover from his injuries the other day to cardfight. And so, Yu-yu challenges Tohya to a cardfight in Danji's place.24m7
Runny PorridgeYu-yu seems to be under the weather after his match with Tohya, and suddenly develops a fever and faints at the amusement park. He intends to rest at home, but with his mother and sisters are away on vacation, a concerned Danji suggests looking after Yu-yu at his house instead.24m8
Like a Fish and WaterIt's the anniversary of the day Megumi and Danji met. However, Danji shows no signs of any intention to celebrate it, and seems to have completely forgotten about it. Seeing that Megumi has started sulking in disappointment, Tomari takes action to lift her spirits.24m9
Overnight StatueYu-yu and the others are surprised as a helicopter suddenly appears in the skies above the amusement park, with Tohya's partner Masanori in it. As his cards are being blown away by the wind pressure from the helicopter, an angry Zakusa shows another side of him that's uncharateristically wild. Will this be the start of a blood strife between Zakusa and Masanori!?24m10
Fluttering BannerAn injured Shinobu arrives at Wonder Hill after encountering card hunters. Danji's facial expression changes upon hearing Shinobu's story, and he sets off alone. When Megumi and the others return to the amusement park after participating in a meeting of leaders in Danji's stead, they find their fallen comrades with a completely changed Tohya standing amidst them.24m11
Fire Dragon's CeremonyYu-yu arrives at the amusement park at night, only to find his fallen comrades, a stolen banner, and Tohya. Tohya challenges Yu-yu to a fight in one week, threatening that "I'll burn the banner if you don't turn up. And I'll burn it if you lose", and departs from the amusement park.24m12
Night Attack on the HeavensYu-yu loses to Tohya. Blackout's banner is burned, and his team mates are overwhelmed by their loss and sense of helplessness.
